This fast-paced advanced CE course explores both the fundamentals and strategic applications of IRS Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. Designed for the experienced commercial practitioners, the course reviews exchange rules, updated compliance requirements, and brokerage considerations under the 2025 OBBBA tax revisions.
Participants will also examine alternative investment structures—including Opportunity Zone Funds, Tenants-in-Common, and Delaware Statutory Trusts—and their role in portfolio strategy.
The course emphasizes high-level oversight, due diligence, client advisement, and ethical considerations when working with complex exchange options.
Agents will gain practical insight to confidently guide clients through sophisticated exchange strategies while maintaining compliance with federal and Georgia real estate regulations.
