Edward Collins, Curtis York, and Tammie Carpenter. Additional instructors may be approved by the Commission to teach this course.
GRADING: All students will be required to conform to the grading policies required of this course under Commission approval. There are homework assignments that must be satisfactorily completed before certification can occur. Students must have a 75% on each homework section to be eligible to take the course final exam. What constitutes a passing grade will be solely determined by the course final examination. Students must achieve a score of 72% or more on the class/course Final Exam in order to become certified as having completed the course. Any student who does not pass the final exam the first time may retake the final exam one (1) additional time; per GREC regulations. Students must register to take both the class and retake exam in advance, prior to testing at MetroBrokers.com/Academy/student-resources/
If a student fails to achieve a passing score on a retake examination, the entire 75-hour course must be repeated before taking another examination. Re-enrollment fees for the Salesperson's Pre-license course will apply. Students may be required to purchase new books if course materials have changed/updated.
All class and online course testing must be completed within (1) one year of course start date. Should testing not be completed prior to one (1) of the course start date, re-enrollment will be required.
ATTENDANCE: Students are required to attend all of the required 75-hours minimum class time as per GREC. Any missed attendance/time must be made up by the student prior to taking the course final exam. If a student misses less than 12 hours, the missed time is required to be made-up by attending a CRAM course at the student's expense. If a student misses 12-hours or more, the student is automatically dropped from the course; and would be required to pay a re-enrollment fee to retake a subsequent Salesperson Pre-license course (in-class format).
CERTIFICATION: Upon completion of all course hours, homework, and passing the school final exam, the school will convey the student record of completion online to the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) within three (3) business days following the school final exam i.e., Certification. Students should be able to schedule a state examination within 72 hours after certification.
