President and CEO Kevin Levent recently joined a panel of world-renowned brokers to discuss the topic of service in real estate at Inman Connect 2017. The annual, three-day event brought together thousands of industry leaders and entrepreneurs from around the country in San Francisco, CA.
The panel, “The New PPP: Production Without Service is Fool’s Gold,” was hosted by BHGRE CEO Sherry Chris. In keeping with the topic, Levent shared how BHGRE Metro Brokers creates an environment for both agents and customers to succeed. Noting the extensive training and resources available to BHGRE Metro Brokers agents, he explained the company’s various strategies to maintaining superior service, such as the use of surveys and reviews to measure customer satisfaction and encourage agents to give their best performance.
“Don’t underestimate the value of any survey—good or bad. Good can make you get better. Bad can make you get better. But great makes you excellent,” said Levent.
Towards the end, Chris flipped the script, asking panelists how they provided exceptional service to their agents. Levent replied with unequivocal enthusiasm.
“It’s when they don’t think that anyone cares that they stop caring. They’re looking to be led. They’re with you for a reason. It goes hand in hand. And they’ll stand up to the task if they know they’re expected to.”
Accompanied by hearty chuckles and applause, Levent’s playful charm and refreshingly genuine insight was very well received by the hundreds of real estate professionals in attendance.
