Henry County

Known as the "Mother of Counties," Henry County was initially split up to form several adjoining counties, including Fulton, DeKalb and Clayton.  Today Henry County is one of the fastest growing counties in metro Atlanta with more than 178,000 residents.  The county's growth is largely due to its close proximity to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, with the majority of residential relocation coming from airport employees.  Twenty miles of Interstate 75, one of the nation's most heavily traveled highways, traverses Henry County.  Most industrial-commercial development occurs along this route.
