New Northlake office boasts 13,000 square feet
The new Northlake office has opened, completing the first part of a
triple office opening that will finish the year with a homerun for Metro
Brokers/GMAC Real Estate.
The Northlake office, located on LaVista Road in the Northlake Festival
Shopping Center, is now the largest Metro Brokers office with more than
13,000 square feet. It replaces the Tucker office, which was the first
satellite office ever opened by Metro Brokers.
Located right off of I-285, the Northlake Festival Shopping Center is
home to several large retail stores including Toys R’ Us, Bally Fitness,
PetSmart, School Box and Haverty’s Furniture.
Kevin Levent, President and CEO of Metro Brokers, has carried the
contemporary decorating style commonplace in all of Metro Brokers’ newer
offices through to the Northlake office. Multi-colored floor tiles set
off a bright reception area with three pumpkin color leather couches,
three colorful chairs, glass and chrome tables, contemporary wall art,
and matching wallpaper and curtains.
Clients are greeted by office managers at a 20 foot long reception desk.
A textured glass block wall separates the bullpen area, yet keeps the
office open and inviting. Contributing to the overall effect, high
ceilings show off exposed ductwork and black roof elements. Halogen
lighting illuminates desks, but creates a warm glow rather than a harsh
office environment.
Sales associates have access to three viewing rooms, two “zone booths”
for calling clients in privacy, a large kitchen and coffee bar, three
over-sized conference rooms, 19 private offices, two offices for loan
officers, 23 workstations in the bullpen and much more.
“I just love the contemporary style of the new office,” says Violet
Marinova of the Northlake office. “The furniture, artwork, exposed
ceiling…really everything is so unique and creates a lot of energy in
the office. It makes a great first impression. My clients say ‘Wow!’
when they enter the office. And if I’m not in my private office or
meeting with clients, I can enjoy the coffee bar.”
The office also includes a biometric security system, which provides
access to the office after hours via finger readers from two separate
entrances – one to the main office and the other to two classrooms for
students.
The two classrooms will host continuing education and pre-license
courses for the Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate Academy. The classroom
has a separate break room so sales associates don’t need to share their
refrigerator with students.
Two more offices remain for Levent to open this year: Paulding County
and Hamilton Mill. The Paulding County office is located at the
intersection of Highway 278 and Cleburne Parkway and will be the next
office to open. The Hamilton Mill office, located at the corner of
Sardis Church and Hamilton Mill Roads, is in the construction stage and
scheduled to open in December.
Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate, established in 1979, has 21 metro
Atlanta offices and offers a wide range of real estate services
including residential and commercial sales; pre- and post-license
training; corporate relocation; new home sales and marketing; and
insurance, mortgage and title/closing services.
The company is the largest GMAC Real Estate franchise in the world and
the 33rd largest real brokerage company in the country in terms of units
sold. The company has more than tripled in size over the last five years
with more than 2,500 licensees, making the company the largest license
holder in the state of Georgia.
