Paulding real estate goes modern with opening of Metro Broker's
latest office
In October, Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate opened the second of three
new offices in as many months, this time in one of the fastest growing
counties in metro Atlanta and the nation.
The new Paulding County office is located near an intersection in Hiram
that just four years ago consisted of a Wal-Mart, a Waffle House and
some gas stations. Today, the intersection of Highways 92 and 278
features almost every modern retail convenience imaginable, from Target
to LongHorn to Home Depot, and now, Metro Brokers.
Of course, Metro Brokers elevates “modern” to an art form. How many real
estate offices are accessed by a biometric finger print reader, for
instance? The 5,000 square foot office also features the amenities that
Metro Brokers’ sales associates have come to expect and enjoy in newly
built offices such as contemporary art and furniture, state-of-theart
computer workstations and a large kitchen with stainless steel
appliances and an elliptically shaped coffee bar.
The crown jewel, however, is the aweinspiring, 20 foot high foyer that
is accentuated by 11 whimsical, multi-colored Venetian glass fixtures.
Nope, this is definitely not the way real estate looked in the Paulding
County your father used to know.
The new office is already home to 40 sales associates, making Metro
Brokers one of the largest real estate companies in Paulding County.
"The lobby makes a great impression," said sales associate Nikita
Williams. "I just love the atmosphere, the lighting and the color
schemes. I also like using the coffee bar, and I eat breakfast there
whenever I'm not too busy."
As is always the case in real estate though, it’s all about location,
location, location. Paulding sales associates who had to choose between
the West Cobb or Douglasville offices are glad to now have a home base
in their own market.
Located in the end-cap unit of the Poplar Square shopping center at the
intersection of Highway 278 and Cleburne Parkway (one mile west of
Highway 92), the office is perfectly situated to capitalize on the
county’s continued growth over the next two decades.
Cleburne Parkway (also known as East Hiram Parkway) is being expanded to
four lanes and will soon connect to Highway 278 and Highway 92. Upon
completion in October 2008, it will be the primary means of
transportation for the entire southern region of Paulding County
according to the Department of Transportation, and traffic counts are
expected to exceed 20,000 cars per day.
"I'm a Paulding County resident and I was thrilled when Kevin (Levent,
President and CEO of Metro Brokers) decided to build a new office here,”
said sales associate Steve Adkins. “This whole area is going to continue
growing at a rapid clip and with this new office, we’re going to be
right in the middle of everything.”
Indeed, the company hopes the office serves as a launching pad for more
years like last year when the company posted more buyer-brokered
transactions than any other real estate company in Paulding County. Part
of the strategy for achieving continued market share dominance is an
agent training facility at the new Paulding office that can accommodate
up to 50 students.
“We’re excited about the future growth of this county and with the
opening of this office we expect to play a major role in that growth,“
Levent said. “I can easily see this office being a top growth performer
within the company for years to come.”
Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate, established in 1979, has 22 metro
Atlanta offices and offers a wide range of real estate services
including residential and commercial sales; pre- and post-license
training; corporate relocation; new home sales and marketing; and
insurance, mortgage and title/closing services.
The company is the largest GMAC Real Estate franchise in the world and
the 33rd largest real brokerage company in the country in terms of units
sold. The company has more than tripled in size over the last five years
with more than 2,800 licensees, making the company the largest license
holder in the state of Georgia.
