Dabbs named Recruiter of the Year

Joe Dabbs, Vice President of Operations at Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate, was recently honored as the 2007 Recruiter of the Year during the 17th Recruiting Network Conference that took place earlier this month in Oak Brook, Ill.

Under the direction of Kevin Levent, President and CEO of Metro Brokers, Dabbs’ creation of recruiting strategies and systems which resulted in Metro Brokers’ growth from 600 to more than 3,000 sales associates in the last seven years is what earned him the recognition. During his keynote speech at the event, Dabbs outlined his program: “Building Recruiting and Operating Systems from Scratch!"

Nominations for Recruiter of the Year were made via applications and recruiting materials submitted to a selection committee comprised of recruiting leaders – including past award recipients and nominees. During the interview process, the committee looked for innovation, forward thinking, creative ideas, and use of new and untapped resources.
