Byrdsong hosts radio show

Shannon Byrdsong of the Gwinnett Place office recently started her own radio show – The Real State of Real Estate. Every Wednesday from 6 pm to 6:30 pm on WAEC 860 AM in Atlanta, Byrdsong and her guests will discuss the latest real estate topics.

The first show aired on May 16 with Lynn Le, loan officer with Metro Brokers Financial, as a guest. On May 23, a credit restoration company will discuss what helps and hurts credit, steps that can be taken to repair credit and keep it in good standing.

The first six shows have been pre-recorded and then the show will be performed live. Byrdsong, who has a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, will answer questions concerning home buying and selling, mortgages and refinancing, new construction and fixer-uppers, real estate investing and more.

Because Byrdsong’s show airs during peak driving time, her listenership has the potential to reach 4 million. Even though Byrdsong looks at the show as an opportunity to catapult her business, she also sees it as a chance to help people, which is the reason she got into real estate.
