New career advancement department to focus on needs of experienced agents

Metro Brokers/GMAC Real Estate recently divided Career Development into two separate departments with an eye toward improving residuals paid to Metro Brokers Atlanta real estate agents for referring new agents to the company.

The Career Development department remains intact to recruit and serve newly licensed agents while a new department named Career Advancement has been created to focus on the unique needs of experienced agents.

The new Career Advancement department will only recruit sales associates with more than $1 million in annual dollar volume production or $30,000 in annual gross commission income.

Fran Stiakakis, formerly director of national franchise sales for GMAC Real Estate, heads the newly created Career Advancement department. The department already has three recruiters: • Daniel Hudson – Based out of the Stockbridge office, but also handles offices south of I-20.

• Elaine Zurn – Based out of the Woodstock GA office, but also handles Northwest offices including Ellijay GA.

• Rod Peters – Based out of the Perimeter office, but also handles Northeast Atlanta offices including North Fulton and Forsyth.
