SilverOak opens Acworth, GA decorated model home
The long-awaited model home for SilverOak is complete, and the finished
product is better than promised! The new homes community, priced from
the mid-$600s in Cobb County, invites all homebuyers and curious local
residents to stop by and see a slice of luxury southern living designed
by Kathy Camp of Kathy Camp Interiors, Inc.
An accomplished Atlanta home decorator, Camp was chosen for the project
due to her experience and specialty in model home design. She has been
featured in several publications including the Atlanta
Journal-Constitution and Builder's Magazine. Plus, she has won numerous
OBIE Awards, presented by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater
Atlanta Home Builders Association and considered the highest honor given
in the Atlanta housing industry, from previous model home projects and
lives in Marietta.
“We chose Kathy because of her dedication to the craft,” said Julia
Goode, developer of SilverOak. “She truly understands the concept of
marketing a community through decorating.”
The model home is fully decorated on the first floor including a master
bedroom and bath, dining room, family room, kitchen, powder room and
keeping room. Encompassing more than 2,600 feet, the first floor space
is complete with window treatments and furniture as well as great
accessories.
Following the French provincial style, the decorations come together
with balance and symmetry to create a lived-in ambiance. The master
bedroom includes a canopy bed that opens to a sitting area with access
to the rear porch. The master bathroom has every convenience of new
luxury homes including a jetted tub with a stained glass window, a steam
shower, his and her vanities, and his and her walk-in closets.
The home also includes several other features highlighted in SilverOak.
A bricked-in side courtyard with an iron gate can be accessed from the
basement. In addition, the home includes two separate two-car garages:
one is attached to the home while the other is detached and accessed by
a breezeway.
Homes are situated on three quarters of an acre at SilverOak. There are
three builders for the community: Pete Adley, Phil Gressly of
Summerfield Homes and Haven Properties. Adley has built homes in the
Cobb County area for 10 years. Gressly was the 2005 Builder of the Year
for Metro Brokers’ Builder-Developer Marketing Group. Haven Properties
is a perennial Professionalism Award winner from the Greater Atlanta
Home Builders Association (GAHBA). All three builders are also Certified
Professional Builders with the GAHBA and are recognized as leaders in
luxury new home construction in Atlanta.
In addition, SilverOak is one of the only communities in the nation with
multiple builders who construct both 100 percent EarthCraft and Energy
Star homes. Homebuyers save 30 to 40 percent on utility bills with
EarthCraft and Energy Star homes. Plus, many mortgage companies lend
homebuyers more money because utilities are much lower than conventional
homes.
