Neal Davis elected to GAHBA board of directors
Neal Davis, a builder for Metro Brokers’ Builder-Developer Marketing
Group and owner of The Davis Company, was recently elected to the Board
of Directors at the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.
Although Davis was previously a member of the board as President of a
local chapter, he will now be a “builder-at-large” member.
“Builder-at-large” members of the board are in small supply, and only
builders with years of experience and knowledge are elected to this
position. In fact, Davis is one of only four “builder-at-large” members
on the GAHBA Board of Directors.
As a member of the board, Davis serves a two-year term that places him
in a state director position for the Homebuilders of Georgia, which
represents homebuilders on a state level. As a state director, he will
focus on regulatory concerns affecting homebuilding, builder licensing
and certification, storm water management, Earthcraft globalization, and
much more.
Davis was President of the Metro South chapter from 2004 to 2006. What
he considers his greatest accomplishment as President is relinquishing
control to the qualified hands of Gloria Easler, the first Hispanic
female president of the Metro South chapter. He is also excited about
the new masters program at Georgia Tech, funded by the GAHBA, which
allows students to get a masters degree in construction and property
management.
The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) is a
not-for-profit professional trade association dedicated to promoting,
protecting and preserving the homebuilding industry as a viable economic
force in the Atlanta area. There are ten chapter locations around Metro
Atlanta. For more information, visit
www.atlantahomebuilders.com.
Davis currently has six communities represented by Metro Brokers’
Builder-Developer Marketing Group that are under construction: Drew’s
Ridge, Gosdin Park, Stillwood Farms, Stonebriar, Westin Park and
Wyckliffe. In each community, he concentrates on providing homebuyers
with luxury features and family-friendly amenities.
Drew’s Ridge, starting in the $350s; Gosdin Park, from the $300s to
$600s; and Stillwood Farms, from the $270s to $290s, are all located in
Coweta County. Stonebriar, from the $140s to $200s, is located in
Spalding County. Both Westin Park, from the $270s to $350s, and
Wyckliffe, from the $200s to $300s are in Henry County off of
Hampton-Locust Grove Road.
In addition, Davis pays at least $2,500 towards closing costs in each
community with approved lender Metro Brokers Financial. To learn more
