Metro Brokers’ billboards have been a popular topic of conversation around metro Atlanta since their inception in 2005. Known for tracking the number of homes currently available in metro Atlanta, the billboards have been mentioned in newspapers, magazines, and even on the nightly news.

As part of a new marketing effort, Metro Brokers began incorporating short, positive messages on its billboards last week. The billboards still have the current number of homes available, but now it also displays new, text messages every other day.

The messages were added for two reasons: 1. To keep drivers watching our billboards wondering what it’s going to say next; and 2. To combat the media’s negative stories with positive messages about the real estate industry.

President and CEO Kevin Levent said, “We plan to send a clear message to homebuyers across Georgia: Buy now!”

Messages on all of the billboards (except the GA-400/I-85 location) can change once every 24 hours, so there will be one line of text that shows all day. A maximum of 12 to 14 characters will fit on the LED screens allowing messages such as “Move NOW!” and “Great rates!”

The GA-400/85 billboard messages can be changed every 10 seconds. Metro Brokers plans to utilize this billboard to display longer and/or multiple messages during peak traffic times (6:30am to 10:00am and 4:00pm to 7:00pm) Monday through Friday.

Metro Brokers expects the billboard’s popularity to increase tenfold, as daily drivers look to see what new message is going to appear next.
