Conference, awards banquet make for exciting month
Metro Brokers' two largest annual Atlanta real estate agent events are just around the corner. The 2006 Metro Brokers awards banquet is March 2 at the Cobb Galleria and the 2006 GMAC Real Estate national business conference is Feb. 12-15 in Las Vegas at the Paris Las Vegas Casino.

Associates can attend Best of Show, an annual awards program that recognizes sales associates and brokers for superior sales and marketing achievements, and also hear the keynote speaker, Lou Holtz, former football coach at the University of South Carolina and Notre Dame and current ESPN analyst. In addition, education sessions are available on an array of topics including marketing, technology, negotiating, teams, and more.

After attending the national business conference, associates will come back to another celebration at the 2006 Metro Brokers Awards Banquet on Mar. 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cobb Galleria.

Door prizes include computers, laptops, digital cameras, and advertising space in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and The Real Estate Book. In addition, associates can participate in an expo before the awards banquet with vendors on hand to answer questions about their products or services.

Yvonne Brooks, director of corporate training and event manager, has planned an American Dream theme for this year’s awards banquet. She mentioned the event will have the best prizes yet along with live entertainment.
