Vote for BHGRE for Inman Award

Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate has been nominated for an Inman Innovator Award, to be announced at the upcoming Real Estate Connect conference on July 15th in San Francisco, Calif. The Inman Innovator Awards recognize companies that use technology and innovation to enhance the real estate transaction and experience for consumers and real estate professionals. BHGRE was nominated for the Most Innovative Technology for its Home Selection Assistant iPhone app.

The Home Selection Assistant app was launched late last year, and was designed specifically to be a dynamic application which drew in geo-location technology and social media interfaces to produce a true do-it-yourself tool that enhances the home buying experience by allowing users to gather, store, rate and share home information and images in a searchable portal. The application also offers practical home and neighborhood information consumers crave, including data on local schools, demographics, comparable home prices and more.

Within two weeks of its launch, the app ranked in the top 10 free lifestyle applications in the iTunes store. To date, it has been downloaded nearly 70,000 times.
