Top sales associates gather at private function

Last Friday, President and CEO Kevin Levent hosted a private function for 2009’s top sales associates from each of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers’ 26 offices. Almost 200 agents were invited to the event, which took place on Friday, March 19 at the Georgian Club at Cobb Galleria.

The Georgian Club treated all invitees to gourmet cuisine and a breathtaking view of the Atlanta skyline from the 17th floor of Galleria Tower 100. Levent opened the exclusive luncheon with some motivating words for the agents in attendance.

“It’s a new world,” he said. “Clients connect differently. But our job hasn’t changed – we just have different tools to use. Our job is still to put buyers and sellers together to create a relationship that results in a transaction.”

“Focus on client and customer acquisition,” Levent advised. “My staff and I are here to give you the tools to connect with people to turn them into clients.” These tools include cutting edge technology, social marketing tools and the many training classes available. Levent mentioned several new tools, including the customizable listing presentation and the Metro Minute e-newsletter. He also reminded agents to leverage the power of the Better Homes and Gardens® brand, which enjoys a high level of loyalty and trust from consumers.

Levent then introduced the special guest for the event, Sherry Chris, President of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. She congratulated the attendance, stating “It takes courage and guts to be successful in real estate today. You all have these attributes.”

There were several vendors that sponsored the event and gave away door prizes to lucky winners: Atlanta Peach Movers, Atlanta Natural Gas, Northwest Exterminating, DEPco Accounting Services and HSA Home Warranty.
