When Tim Doxsey of Alpharetta, Ga. entered the open house of Sandra Dohn of the North Fulton office during September’s Super Sunday, he already had a feeling he was going to be purchasing it. What he didn’t know was that he would be walking away with $1,000 in Super Sunday prize winnings compliments of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers.

“My daughter had seen this home several times, and I was sure it was the one she wanted,” explained Doxsey. “She and her fiancé are getting married soon, and my wife and I decided to help her out. This will be her first house, and it’s only five miles from us.”

They put in an offer that day after seeing the amount of visitors that Super Sunday brought in, and they are scheduled to close soon. As a first-time homebuyer, Doxsey’s daughter will be taking advantage of the $8,000 tax credit. He also stated that he will be putting the $1,000 prize money toward his daughter’s wedding.

“She kind of expects it!” Doxsey said jokingly.
