This four-part company designation course provides an overview
and direction in new construction, on-site sales.

"New Homes Sales is Not Sitting a Subdivision." Dottie Wise leads
this three-part course for New Home University certification. You must
attend all four classes in order to receive certification. Classes are
held at the corporate training center, 5775-E Glenridge Drive, Suite 100
- Empire I, Atlanta, Georgia. Registration starts at 12:30 pm, class is from 1:00pm -
4:15pm. Seating capacity is limited to 120 agents. Email academy@metrobrokers.com

Part 1 of this course will:
-Provide an overview of the characteristics and requirements of listing
and selling new homes in the Atlanta area as an on-site salesperson;
-Demonstrate the differences in resale and on-site sales;
-Provide information on how to list an Atlanta new home community; and
-Review BRRETA and identify agency requirements of the builder/seller
and buyer agent representing a client in a new home sale.
Part 2 of this course will:
-Determine the buyer's characteristics and specific needs;
-Set up a successful marketing plan;
-Explain Fair Housing and use of the Equal Housing Logo;
-Demonstrate the sales process - the critical path of selling, greeting,
qualifying, presenting and closing; and
-Track traffic and establishing a solid follow-up system.
Part 3 of this course will provide direction in:
(courses 1 and 2 must be completed prior to taking this class)
-Shopping the competition
-Non-verbal communications
-Overcoming objections
-The GAR new construction purchase and sale agreement
-Premier customer service
-Covenants and plats
-Hard to sell inventory
-New home vocabulary
Part 4 of this course reviews the current GAR New Construction Purchase and Sale Agreement, commonly used GAR exhibits and addendums
and builder's special stipulations. Subjects include earnest money, the walk through, builder's limited warranty and home inspectors in
the new home purchase. Also discussed is the role of the buyer's agent in the new home sales transaction.
Only Metro Brokers’ sales associates are eligible to receive the company’s new homes designation upon completion of all courses.
Metro Brokers’ sales associates can take 1, 2, 3 or all 4 of these classes in successive order.
All of the new home classes are free to Metro Brokers’ sales associates. Agents with other brokers must take all four of the new home
classes at a rate of $120.
